Sheree Murphy

Sheree Murphy is a Career Technical Education educator and Career Center Specialist with the San Lorenzo Unified School District. She helps students explore career pathways, build workforce readiness skills, and connect education to long-term economic opportunity.

Having built a career through alternative routes, Sheree’s career journey reflects resilience and determination. After leaving college to care for a family member, she built a successful career through public-sector leadership, earned multiple promotions, and later transitioned into technology and education through skills-based training and continuous learning.

As a member of the STARs Advisory Council, Sheree brings firsthand insight into overcoming barriers to advancement and advocates for expanding access to opportunity through skills-first pathways.
