Making the labor market work for all Americans: Innovations from the front lines
Private organizations are doing important and innovative work to connect Americans with jobs and to make the labor market work for all Americans. The American Enterprise Institute is pleased to host a discussion with the principals of four such pioneering organizations—Year Up, Opportunity@Work, Hire Ground, and Rural Sourcing—who will discuss how their efforts connect workers with good jobs, how changes in the US economy affect the world of work, how their organizations are addressing these new challenges, and how their work increases American competitiveness. The panel will also discuss lessons these efforts may hold for public policy.
