Laura Lubben, Program Associate
Laura joins Opportunity@Work after a number of different experiences. Most recently, she served as a White House Intern in the National Economic Council where her work focused on infrastructure and transportation. She helped plan and execute a roundtable on low-income access to transportation, working to ensure affordable and accessible transportation options for all Americans. She also helped coordinate interagency efforts, working with stakeholders both inside and outside of government. After her time in the White House, Laura returned to Smith College where she earned her B.A. in Economics with a minor in Jewish Studies.
Prior to the White House, Laura spent two summers as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York, where she worked with the Financial Sponsors, Transportation, and Financial Institutions Groups.
Laura brings her enthusiasm, positivity, and idealism to the team. She aims to use her experience and skills to improve the world around her and strives to be better, and do better, every day. A published poet and part-time yogi, Laura is concerned with the future of work as well as her pastimes.
