David O’Hara, Project Manager
David serves as a project manager at Opportunity@Work, focused on developing the Talent Financing pillar to further expand access to training and education for the modern workforce. He brings a passion for creative problem solving and innovative thinking with the goal of expanding opportunities for learning and skill development to those of all backgrounds.
Prior to joining O@W, David worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, a management consulting firm. He gained experience working with clients in a diverse set of industries, from retail to industrials to healthcare, on a wide range of projects, from growth strategy to integration management. In addition, David has done pro bono consulting work with non-profits to improve their strategy and operations, most recently with a clean water organization to improve their supply chain efficiency. Prior to Bain, David worked at retail consulting firm Kurt Salmon, GE, and Bigelow Tea.
David graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Marketing, and a minor in Global Sustainability.
