Dan Schiff, Senior Business Project Manager
Dan is an M.B.A. and former journalist with a passion for making business a force for social and environmental good. At Opportunity@Work, Dan supports strategy development and planning, operational effectiveness, innovation, knowledge sharing and communications efforts.
Previously, Dan worked at the global nonprofit Ashoka, serving as engagement manager for Fabric of Change, a multi-year partnership with C&A Foundation. He managed all internal and external aspects of the Fabric of Change initiative, which supports the work of social entrepreneurs in building a more equitable and sustainable apparel industry. Dan also was global program manager for the Ashoka Support Network, a community of business leaders that advises and collaborates with Ashoka’s fellowship
Prior to joining Ashoka in 2013, Dan was a healthcare business journalist and editor for Elsevier Business Intelligence (now Informa Pharma Intelligence). Dan loves volunteering in the Washington, D.C., community; he is a youth mentor in the BEST Kids program and former president of the professional chapter of DC Net Impact.
Dan received a B.A. in government from Cornell University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in sustainability management from American University.
